Vandal Changes Atheist Billboard

Okay… I know… vandalism is not cool.

But admittedly, I’m biased…

…and this was pretty funny.

Last week I posted a blog about some atheist and agnostic groups that have purchased billboards around my city and others. Today’s Sacramento Bee has an update on that story:

The billboard along Interstate 80 between Sacramento and Davis once read “Are you good without God? Millions are.”

But recently, somebody scaled the big sign and spray painted “also lost?” after “Millions are.”

“Millions are also lost?” Sorry… I shouldn’t laugh… but that’s funny.

Hey Jonathan, so I go to UC Davis and as a Christian I am CONSTANTLY bombarded with liberal, atheist ideology in a majority of my classes. So when I was on my way to my liberal school, seeing that billboard really ticked me off, because I’m used to all that on campus, I don’t need to see it on my way TO school as well….. so yea, when I saw that little addition, I thought it was pretty justified. Becuase my question to that athiest organization is, “if you hate God so much, than WHY do you keep talking about Him???” I mean really, ok, we get it, they don’t believe in God, but why to they constantly feel the need to specifically spit in the faces of Christians? It’s highly disrespectful of them. So when their sign got vandalised, it’s a product of their own actions…

I know, I know, turn the other cheek….

Because Jesus said, “blessed are the taggers.”

I’m more offended by the people that thought this was a good way to live like Christ than the lost ones who wouldn’t know better.

  3. Dizzy says:

Since atheists have no source for moral absolutes, how can they mind the nice ‘addition’?

  4. Hypocrit says:

and if this happened to a Christian billboard, Pat Robertson and the rest of you would be flipping out. Good thing no one ever complains about hypocrites in the church.
